A grade is supposed to reflect if a child has met a standard or not. We use E (exceeds the standard), S(Satisfies or meets the standard), and N (Does Not Meet standard) so the parents gets a very accurate view of where their child is. We have been using the common core standards to it is very clear when a child has exceeded, met, or not met their standard. <br /><br />Thanks for sharing this linky party! I hadn't seen it yet! I had a hard time coming up with assessments that were fair for everyone. I would differentiate things like spelling, but it was just so time-consuming to keep up with.
