Hello, everyone it is a nice sunshiny day in NC. I am enjoying my summer, I hope you are too. I have a new stickerbook I want to share. You may go here to my TPT store to download. I hope you find it helpful. All of the things I have created are free because I know I have to spend so much on my classroom and I am sure you do too. Somethings just should be free. So go download it.

Well it is certainly hot enough in Murphy, NC today. I keep thinking about all the things I need to do and how much time I have to do it in. School starts August 1st for us teachers. Well I have made a few more sight word sticker books that you can get below. I also have been buying things at The Dollar Tree which I love very much. I got lots of borders, magnets, stickers, and more.

Things have cooled down here in NC thank the Lord. I have been busy this summer working in summer school. We are using a pirate theme for the summer and the kids are having fun. We are working on the reader's theater for the book
How I Became a Pirate
by David Shannon.
We are working on making a ship and costumes. I have created a pirate sight word game for students you can get for free.
Pirate Sight Word Game
Go to Oh' Boy 4th Grade to link up! Another linky party link up here to share what music you use in the classroom. I work at a brain based school and part of our everyday music is baroque music. Brain researchers have learned that if this type of music is played at a quiet level that both the left and right brain are engaged! When we have 3 minute dance parties to give the kids a break I like to play kidz bop. We also do Just Dance for kidz on You Tube.
